I'm wondering where to post a request for picnic sites in the greater Boston area that allow wine with the meal. There was a great post on picnic food suggestions the other day, and I would love to find out where Hounds favorite places are. This seems Chow related. Any help? My post asking for help was deleted. I noticed a couple of old posts on the subject, but wanted updated info.

We did send you an email on this, so please do check your email.

Our mission is narrow on Chowhound- to share tips on where to find great chow. Our site works because we stick narrowly to that mission.

Where to buy great food to take on a picnic should be discussed on the appropriate local boards. Types of foods that are most picnic friendly, and how to store picnic foods would be discussed on the General Topics board. Picnic baskets and other carrying/storage equipment would be discussed on the Cookware board. Recipes for picnic-friendly foods are discussed on the Home Cooking board.

But where to actually have the picnic is off topic for our site. It's not enough about food to be on topic for the local boards, and it's too location-specific to be useful to the wide audience on the Not About Food board.
