Oxford, Mississippi on Sunday
Shame on you.
I've heard L&M brunch is tremendous. I also have to mention Bottletree Bakery is open Sundays. Ain't nuthin else though, and the bars shut down at midnight Saturday. And you can't buy cold beer any day (unless you buy it at the Rebel Barn during the winter).
Thanks for those ideas and the link. It looks like Taylor Grocery is also open on Sunday nights. I'm leaning towards that over Yocona (for a more down home experience). I may have to visit Bottletree for a slice of pie, too. Are their sandwiches good?
Thanks again, I'm off to study Mississippi's alcohol bylaws.
the options are limited. this link should really help you out:
i would go with L&M's for brunch and Yocona River Inn for dinner if you want to experience the finer eats of Oxford. in the past i've always taken people to Old Venice for sunday lunch but word on the street is it has gone downhill with new management.
