Mexican in Rockville?

Looking for good cheap non-chain mexican in the Rockville area - any ideas? Will drive for good food. Thanks!

    The Taco Bar next to the Washingtonian Chevron near Rio. Can't beat it.

      I know it isn't true Mexican, but La Flor de la Canela (formerly the Chicken Place) on 355 has totally incredible Peruvian food. Some of it has mexican elements. It is the most delicious food I've ever eaten in my life. It's about $12/ person.

        El Mariachi in the Ritchie Center, north of Wintergreen Plaza on Rockville Pike, may be just the ticket.
