an idea stolen from an old Iron Chef episode: making noodles by forming a paste, then squeezing paste from a pastry bag into boiling water. I guess this is usually done with seafood to make a shrimp noodle, scallop noodle or the like. anyone ever see a recipe like this? anyone ever heard of trying it with other kinds of ingredients (like maybe carrots, to get a bolder carrot flavor than you would in traditional pasta-maker recipes)?
