bubble tea in CC or South Philly?

robynsmith May 1, 2007 03:14 PM

Does anyone know where I might find bubble tea in CC or South Philly? I'm very much a bubble tea fan, and so now I'm trying to feed my addiction but the only place I found through Google was in West Philly. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

O Sandwiches on 9th near Federal (right next door to La Lupe) has bubble drinks. I know they have a variety of fruit flavors, but I'm not sure about straight tea.

The place in West Philly (The Bubble House) is actually pretty good and in a good location. Its at U. of Penn and frequented by a lot of college students and employees.

        Try KC's Pastries in Chinatown...I believe it's 10th and Arch-ish area.

We were at Lee How Fook this weekend - 11th St. between Race and Vine - and two doors away is their tea shop, which has bubble tea. Just a few doors south of Vine.

KC's is great. Their red bean bubble tea uses real red bean, not just flavored powder. They also advertise 'fresh watermelon, fresh mango' flavors, so I assume they are made with real fruit instead of powder too. Great Tea International on Sansom does a great matcha bubble tea latte. Thank you.
