Galangal & kaffir lime leaves

Joy of food May 1, 2007 11:48 AM

Hello chowhounders,

Does anybody know if there is a merchant at JT Market (or surrounding area) that carries galangal & kaffir lime leaves?
I have a craving & can't bear a schlep to Chinatown tonight!

Marche Oriental on Saint-Denis just south of Jean-Talon has both. It's only one block east from JTM.

They're also available at Thaï Hour on the corner of St-Denis and Jean-Talon.

I have the same question about galangal and Kaffir lime leaves, but it's now 2014 and I live on the West Island. Just back from Thailand and have a craving!

It's not in the west island, but The Spice Station has dried Galangal and Kaffir lime leaves.
