Choices for Daughter's 15th Birthday
She likes Italian, American so I narrowed it down to 4 - NOPA,Incanto(Church St), Delfina and Range . What do you foodies think? Other rec;s also appreciated. Prices among 4 seem equal.

Incanto if she is an adventurous eater, and likes rustic Italian food. Delfina if she is a more conservative eater, and likes Cal Cuisine.
Incanto is my favorite restaurant in the Bay Area.›3 Replies -
I'd go with Delfina off of that list but I would seriously consider A16 instead. (A16 is a modern Southern Italian restaurant in the Marina.) The food is as good, a bit more unusual, and the crowd is really young (not mostly 15 young, but 18-35 young). Really cool vibe. Awesome wine list and stemware, although I guess that isn't really relevant for the next few years ;-)

I'd probably recommend Delfina, followed by NOPA. I would say that Delfina has the best food out of the bunch, it's youthful/hip (I just made myself feel old by saying "hip"), and in general a fun location.
Incanto specializes in offal, so if she's an adventurous eater it may be a good place to consider. Not every teen likes to eat kidneys, intestines, etc. I constantly hear a lot of mixed reviews about Range, though the cocktails ALWAYS get the thumbs up. Maybe in another 6 years. ;)
