Is there better frozen yogurt than bloomingdale's?

lets face it summer is coming and you want to eat ice cream but don't want the saturated fat. I go to bloomingdale's for their low fat and non fat frozen yogurt. The one near me in short hills, nj always has coffee and plain. If you ask for a swirl you get the best of both, sweet coffee and tart, clean tasting plain! You see the same regular 'addicts' after a few visits so you realize its not just you who needs a regular 'fix' of frozen goodness. I just wish they had chocolate sometimes.

    1. haven't found anything better than bloomie's for real frozen yogurt. Pinkberry is supposed to be similar (plain and green tea flavors only), but most who have tried Pinkberry (i haven't) seem to prefer frogurt (bloomies).

Are you taking Bloomingdale's the dept store?????

yep. it's in the cafe in the basement.

      1. I loved pinkberry, but have never had the kind at bloomie's. Try it with captain crunch and fresh strawberries. What about yolato or mr. softee fat-free?

        1. Not that Cafe Lalo needs to get any busier (you'll see what I mean if you go!), but they have the best frozen yogurt hands-down!!! It's tart and so yogurty! It's best with fresh berries...

I've had Bloomies' which is a very close second!

          1. Yolato and Zabar's, both in the 80's on Broadway, are comparable to 40 Carats. I haven't tried the Lalo yet but have heard it is very good. . . My favorite of all I have tried is Yolato.

I agree that cafe Lalo has good fro yo. I tried this awesome drink with frozen yogurt and orange juice blended together into a shake. It was so refreshing.

I heard that the frozen yogurt from 40 Carats was the same brand as the one served at Zabars and Cafe Lalo. I'm currently at school in New Orleans so I can't wait to get back to try all the new fro yo places!
