My favourite Toronto Lobster restaurant has been Lobster Trap on Avenue Road for decades. I have never been disapponted. But adventure calls...is anything else out there?

I also loved The Lobster Trap but a visit two weeks ago was disappointing to say the least...our Lobsters 3 out of 4 were steamed beyond belief...very tough....the salad which was never their strongpoint had well 'aged' iceberg lettuce, potatoes (both Baked and French Fries) were adequate and other than that the place was jammed so service was abrupt at best. The Restaurant itself is showing its age...the carpeting(?) was stained and shop-worn....Would I go back? Not if anyone can suggest an alternative!

I have picked up lobster-ready-to-go....at City Fish on Dufferin just south of lawrence.
Last week, I picked up 2 lobsters weighing 2.75 pounds in total for $38 dollars and was in HEAVEN. They cook it for you (I callled in advance) and it was cooked to perfection. I know its not a restaurant...but...I was a happy camper..LOL

Try Starfish. The lobster is great.
