Martini's & Appetizers?

Where in the Sherman Oaks/Studio City are is a nice spot to grab a tasty Martini and appetizers?

Two places we go when we want drinks are Stanley's and Oyster House Saloon. Both make decent martinis (can only vouch for gin because we don't drink vodka). Appetizers probably easier at Stanley's, many more choices, although Oyster House has oyster shooters for 75 cents each between 5p and 7p or something like that (and maybe it's divier than you want). Another nice spot might be Ca' del Sole but that's a bit outside your geographic request, in North Hollywood.

Spark Woodfire Grill on Ventura has great martinis and more hearty appetizers, but the bar is pretty small, just a few seats. If you can go farther east to Burbank, French 75 has a great bar with good martinis and great appetizers.

minibar might be fun for tapas/appetizers... sherman oaks really does need a good martini bar...

I've never been, but I hear Firefly is a great place to go. When I lived in that area, I used to go to the bar at the Daily Grill for martinis, but they didn't have a great selection of appetizers.

If you are willing to drive to Woodland Hills, I highly recommend either Ruth's Chris (my personal fave) or the new Fleming's steakhouse. Next to Fleming's is Roy's, but I haven't been there yet.

Firefly is fun yet a bit loud and more for after 9pm I'm after a spot say Happy Hour time?

I too like Ruth Chris yet thats closer to my office vs. my home, Sherman Oaks.

Roys & Flemings I do enjoy as well for dinners.
