I have had a few people tell me to visit Blue Coral next time I travel to the area. Anyone been there what do you think?

  1. We were there back in September last year and we enjoyed our dinner. The Lobster Fuego was excellent...I would have preferred it on mashed potatoes, that's just me, but its on homemade potato chips. The martinis were excellent. The bleu cheese cole slaw was outstanding. We would go back again! is very good.

    1. We went there once and won't go back. Everything overpriced. Small portions. I had halibut that is just as good at the Crab Cooker's from Alaska. Heard raves about the bar which had maybe 10 bar stools all of which were taken on a week night. Way too many better places to go in Newport Beach.

      1. I was there a couple of months ago. The food was just ok. They try to immitatate the steak houses by having a lot of the dishes a la carte. I did enjoy their lobster trio salad though. Huge chunks of lobster prepared in 3 different ways and with different dipping sauces. I agree that this is a very pricey restaurant. I think a little bit pricey for the quality of the food. The bar is a cool place to hang out with friends or happy hour. This restaurant reminds me a lot of Wildfish that is also in Newport. Wildfish has a great happy hr menu where u can get a variety of appetizers for half off!
