I've read that there are 1 or 2 excellent new restaurants in the Presidio, near to the Letterman complex/Industrial Light & Magic buildings. However, I can't recall their names.

Anyone been to and have comments on these new places to chow? I am looking for a weekday lunch spot in that area.

Thanks.

There is a 3rd restaurant in the Presidio called La Terrasse. It is a French bistro-style place on Lincoln Blvd. near the post office.

For a weekday lunch spot rather than an expense account splurge, go to Acre in the Thoreau Sustainability Center, directly across from the YMCA.

Excellent salads, soups, and entrees in a beautiful setting. Free parking behind the building. I especially like the vending machine with the "healthy" junk food, right near the recycling bins.
