I am a spicy tuna FANATIC, and would love to continue my quest for the best spicy tuna on the West side. I love Katsuya, Musha, Takao and Hamasaku. Please add more to my list!! Thanks in advance.

Asakuma in Brentwood on Wilshire has the best spicy tuna roll ever, especially because they use the good chili oil instead of that sriracha (sp?) ketchup-type crap. So many spicy tuna rolls are just "eh", but this one will blow your socks off, I promise!

Couldn't agree with you more about the chili oil, which Asakuma uses. It's a very good spicy tuna roll, but still doesn't compare to Tatsuki in Woodland Hills. They use a sesame/chili oil combo that the chefs drizzle on the rolls that is just out of this world. Since you are a chili oil afficianado like myself, I'm certain you won't be disappointed.

I love Asakuma and Crazy Fish spicy tuna as well. Wondering if there's still another hidden gem?

Go to katsuya's new place on 3rd street--good stuff! It's near Beary's pizza.
