Just walked by this evening and it looks like business as usual. Guess they cleared up their IRS issues.

Wow...I didn't know they had closed. I haven't tried it, but have been dying to taste their curried goat and jerk chicken. And the ackee and codfish...and the oxtail. so which should I try first?

And on another night, try Stir It Up on Atlantic Avenue between Nevins and Third. I've eaten once at Brawta and twice at Stir it Up and preferred the latter. Food was fresh and well- spiced. My chicken at Brawta was overcooked and dry.

Brawta excells at fish. That's what I had tonight Brawta. I can't wait to try Stir It Up.

Stir It Up is great. Has even more "family run" feel than Brawta had 15 years ago. Fish items are particularly good, but so are their non-seafood curries. I also like their rotis, although the skins are a little heavy.
