Had lunch yesterday with Mom in Chinatown at Utopia Cafe. It wasn't as good as it has been in the past. The two items we ordered were just a bit off .... the black bean spare ribs rice clay pot suffered from spare ribs that were not cooked enough: almost every piece was a bit(or more) chewy and the fat/cartiledge wasn't soft/ melting. The chinese broccoli with oyster sauce was just a bit undercooked for my taste .... I like it cooked through but still with some texture and color. Today's version needed another minute or two to get there. The house soup was tasty.
