We always stay at the Michelangelo--great location! The Carnegie Deli (major tourist desitination) is just up the street. Bobby Flay's Bar Americain is nearby too--they do a weekend brunch.

I know the inquiry is about breakfast, but it just occurred to me that Insieme, the new Italian restaurant from Hearth's Chef/owner Marco Canora and co-owner Paul Grieco just opened on Monday (April 23rd) in the Michelangelo. Early reports I've read elsewhere indicate that the food is excellent.

With so many hotels in NYC, it's difficult for natives to know exactly where all of them are located. So, I Googled and found that the Michelangelo is located at 152 W. 52nd.

Now comes the question of what kind of breakfast you prefer. The usual eggs, pancakes, waffles, etc.? Or continental?

*The* place to go for the quintessential NYC deli experience is Katz's, where it's all about the pastrami. It's located on the Lower East Side, on the corner of Houston (pronounced "how-stun") & Ludlow Sts.
