Please help me I.D. this herb (moved from Home Cooking)

I bought it at a Thai/Indonesian market. It has stems similar to basil, but the top looks like a very long piece of grass. It has a chive and garlic flavor. Anyone know what this is?

I'm with Ida Red - could be Chinese chives better known as garlic chives or gau choy. Sort of looks like green onions? although I'm stumped too on the basil-like stem. It should have more of a garlic flavor rather than onion. This is excellent in stir-fry.

I think it is Chinesse Chives... are the blade really wide?
I don't know though, Chineese Chives (is there a more correct term?) don't really have a basil-like stem....

I'm sitting at work, so maybe I'm remembering the stems wrong, but they were unremarkable. The blades were not very wide, I'm guessing 1cm.
