If you take it all the way to Old Town Folsom there are a couple of worthy places. BTW dinner may be a little late for lightrail on weekends.

the light rail I think only runs to seven to Old town Folsom. There are some pretty good places there though on Sutter Street. Pachangas is great. I have heard good things about the Balcony Bistro lately too. My Bro Vinnys is pretty good too and the hacienda is great for margaritas......

Here is link for Sutter Street places.http://www.folsomliving.com/modules/x... .
There is another area of old town by the river that also has a Zinfandel Grille (good) a new sushi place (haven't tried) a tThai restaurant that I cannot remember the name of (good) and a great mexican place with great margaritias and pretty interesting food. (again the name).
On sutter there also is Sutter Street Grille, (good for breakfast, haven't lunched there) SNOOKS Candies (the absolute best peanut brittle in the world IMO), Hop Sing (Not good) Palace, Chicago Fire Pizza who people rave about, but I do not like it at all, The Folsom Hotel that just changed owners so I have no idea and Peter Yagers. yagers is really casual with pub grub that is pretty good, they also ahve a great beer selection.
