West Portal rendezvous tonight

I'm meeting a friend for dinner tonight in the West Portal area. I've done some searches for possible dining spots but opinions seem to vary widely and I see no consistent winner. Anyone have any recent thoughts/experiences/views on Fresca, Roti, Bursa, Cafe for All Seasons or El Toreador? Any input much appreciated! Thanks

My own personal favorites are Fresca (Lomo Saltado and Pollo a la Braza...delicious) and Old Krakow at the end of WP for good Polish food!

Ditto for Roti. I've eaten there several times and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Bursa and Fresca are probably at the top of the heap. El Toreador is fine, but nothing special. Avoid Cafe for All Seasons. Another option is Xiao Loong, which has decent chinese food (especially like their braised fish in black bean sauce), a nice atmosphere and good service.

We've had consistently good experiences at Roti and I like the atmosphere and service there. The lamb is uniformaly good. Fresca was alright the one time I've been; their ceviches are pretty good.

Definitely Bursa. They have a delicious dish of sliced lamb served over bread cubes, a tomato-based sauce and yogurt that is better than the same dish at A la Turka. I don't remember the name of the dish.

I find Cafe for All Seasons kind of just "there" and a little overpriced, although their salads are always good.
