Mother's Day brunch (or lunch) in Marin

Taking ma-in-law and wife out for this event. I'm familiar with the Sonoma County spots, but in laws want to stay in Marin. Price not important...any thoughts, recs (esp. funky, cool, out-of-the-way) appreciated.

Sams in Tiburon( if sunny) Spinnaker in Sausalito ( for view of the bay) Lark Creek Inn in Larkspur. All will be crowded however so I would consider that.

Love Pier 15 and am going there for lunch today. The front part is "old bar" and the rear is a very bright dining room with large windows. On warm days there's a great deck overlooking a somewhat-seedy San Rafael boat scene.
