I'm having a hankering all of a sudden! Any price range, anywhere in Manhattan. Thanks!

    Sushi Yasuda for uni sushi

Ushiwakamaru for chawan mushi with uni

There was some discussion about this from a while ago, don't know if it helps.

As of this Sunday, Blue Hill had an amazing salmon dish with sea urchin sauce... very interested and tasty!

definitely try Tocqueville's angel-hair carbonera with uni.

One of my favorite dishes city-wide is the Maccheroni alla Chittara With Lump Crabmeat & Sea Urchin at Esca. I wish I had some right now.

Ditto on this dish. Filling, creamy, delicious; pasta paired perfectly. Comfort food for uni lovers.

My picks (not in specific order):

1.Fresh uni in shell from Hokkaido (seasonal at any good Japanese restaurants) - nothing beats that!
2.Sea urchin with lobster gelee and cauliflower puree - L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon
                  3. Sea urchin tempura (wrapped in shiso leaf) - Inagiku

Now I am dying to try the uni dish at Esca!
