The Village Restaurant
420 Spadina Rd. M5P 2W4
P: (416) 487-1420
Call, I'm not sure of their hours. I was there once, good diner food.

I live right there.
Burger's at Village Restaurant are okay but not much else.
Go to (in order of preference):
1) Edo (VERY good but pricey)
2) Banfi (great pizza/pasta)
3) Mashu Mashu (Med grill with really good falafel/shawarma - great salads too)
4) David's/Buzz by Night (good bistro food with a bakery attached)
5) Hope Street Cafe (mediocre bisto food, but definitely works for a quick bite)
Hope one of these works for you.

I love the fries and gravy at the Villiage restaurant. They are incredible. The owner is scary, rude and angry in a psycho kind of way. He sits at the cash and always manages to make people feel uncomfortable.
