Lunch in Carytown?

I'm going to be meeting up with a friend in Carytown this weekend, and was wondering if you could recommend a good restaurant/cafe for lunch in that area. I love offbeat/eclectic, and preferably nothing that's going to break the bank. Something that would make a good "first date," I guess. Any recommendations would be delicious, thank you!

  1. I'd recommend Can Can. Great atmosphere and variety on the menu. New York Deli is also a possibility although I haven't been there since the change in ownership and makeover. For more casual and potential for outdoor seating is the sandwich shop, Coppola's. For Thai I like Thai Diner Too. Be sure to stop by the revamped Bev's Ice Cream for good, homemade ice cream, frozen yogurt, gelato, and sorbet.

    1. To toss a few more suggestions at you...Mom's Siam for Vietnamese and Acacia, eclectic American and lunch is when you can afford it and they have a nice patio out front if the weather is good.
