Vittorio's in Alhambra--Any Good?

Augusta Apr 25, 2007 11:25 AM

I drove by this place on Valley Blvd, near the 710 fwy, last night and was curious about it. It's the first time I ever noticed an Italian restaurant in that particular shopping complex.
Has anyone tried it and would you recommend going there?

I wouldn't go out of your way to eat there, but if you're in the neighborhood and don't want to venture into South Pas., it's OK. Eggplant parmigan is OK. The marinara sauce is a bit on the sweet side for me, but I usually eat pizza when there. I find the food similar to Angelo's, further west on Valley, with less of a crowded.

Its been for a long time....havent ate there in oh, 2 years, but the food is not bad. No frills, nothing stands out particularly, but i use to go have lunch their with my old boss back in the days.... Hot Sandwiches, Cold Pitchers of Beer, and Pizza are your best choices. Definitely worth a try if you're in the neighborhood.
