We will be driving from Lincoln City to Florence in June and are looking for the must eat places along the way.

I'll put in a plug for Waterfront Depot in Florence. It's on Bay Street in the old
town on the river side of 101.

What a nice time to see the Oregon coast! Dining on the coast can be a bit of an adventure, but we've had some nice meals. In Yachats, try The Drift Inn. Menu is pretty basic, well executed, plus you may hear some lively local entertainment on the weekends. In Old Town Florence, we've had a fine lunch at Bridgewater.

If the weather cooperates, try the Krab Kettle in Florence. It's an old fashioned roadside crab stand on the main highway serving fresh steamed dungeness crab. They have a picnic table or two, or you can order your crab to-go and visit one of the nearby oceanfront parks for an al fresco feast.
