Anyone Tried Riche?

Conde Nast Traveler just named Riche, said to be "Todd English's newest outpost," to its Gold List of new restaurants. Has anyone tried it? I didn't know it was even there when we were down last weekend and in restaurant conversations with several folks down there it never came up.

There have been many posts about Riche in the past and as I recall they were not good. I understand the original chef has been replaced so previous posts may not apply. Have not been myself, but ones that I know who have been had less than a positive experience but again that was with the old chef.

Went back and searched the board and found the posts to which you refer. I remembered them once I reread them and know why it never got my attention -- it's in the casino. Just haven't gotten to an acceptance of restaurants inside casinos, but used to be that way about restaurants in hotels. Got over that, though.

Riche is not a bad restaurant. Now that Tiffani left the onion soup is very good again and the mussels with pomme frits are quite good. Todd English has absolutely nothing to do with this restaurant. He just allowed Harrah's to use his name.

Really!!!! He was here when it opened and isn't the onion soup so mentioned a signature dish of his. I think they are using more than his name, but I may be mistaken.

I was told by a realiable source within the restaurant they are only using his name NOW.
