Homestyle Cafe-Ontario, CA ... still open?
A while back I was craving a homestyle cafe breakfast and when we arrived on a Saturday morning, there was no one there, no signs, nothing. We looked around and it seemed like they had closed down. Maybe for remodeling?
Does anyone know if they've opened back up? or what the deal was? I'd hate to drive over there all hungry only to find it closed again.

In case anyone was wondering, the cafe is still open, just in a new location.
Guasti Homestyle Cafe is now located at 13526 Central Ave, south of Chino Avenue in the city of Chino.

Unfortunately Homestyle Cafe is closed. I visited last year and they had a paper taped to the door saying that they'll be closing for reasons I forget. There were also a lot of other post-its and messages from loyal patrons begging for more information if Homestyle should ever open up again. :(
I miss their plate-sized pancakes.

I have no idea. But don't go hungry. How about Flo's Airport cafe at the Chino airpot. I mention it becausre of the name "Homestyle." Try the porkchops and eggs.
Chino Airport on Merrill Ave. east of Euclid. From the 60 go South on Euclid. From the 71.go north. .

I never tried it but CFS is one of my fav breakfast. Do you know whether they tenderize and bread it (hand made) or is out of a frozen box and ready to cook? My fav is at the Swing Inn down in Temecula (fresh hand made). However, I have had two pre-made frozen CFS that were great -- The Pines in Lancaster and Moffetts in Bellflower.
