Chowhound Digest

This tip is something I just learned and seemed like something really worthwhile to pass along, so hope that’s ok.

Clicking on the cloud links in the Digest will return a list from that specific area or topic.

It does NOT take you to that board, just articles about that board. That’s a REALLY good thing.

So clicking on the links will get the following

Los Angeles

Manhattan

For those not familiar with the Digest, it is a summary of a few of the most delicious posts of the week on the Chowhound forum board. It could be anything from the street vendor to what to order at the latest in-spot.

There is a entertaining to-the-point summary of the topic, restaurant addresses and phone numbers. There’s also links to a map and the original topic.

The business about the links at the side weren’t intuitive for me. So I’ve been clicking on the Digest link and scrolling through the entire Digest, skipping the cities and topics that didn’t interest me.

So I was really jazzed to find a way just to look at the San Francisco Bay Area info.
