Anyone know of any great American (California Cuisine) kinda place in Rancho Cucumonga?

I was originally looking for a place in Riverside, but I'll be in Rancho Cucumonga tomorrow, so I will have to look for a place there for a a great restaurant there. If not American, if there is a great restaurant in that area, please feel free to let me know as well. Thank you.

  1. Fleming's Steakhouse. Victoria Gardens Mall. Mall is great as well.

    7905 Monet Avenue
    Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739

    1. Check out Rosa's Restaurant on Vineyard Avenue in Ontario and the New York Grill near the Ontario Mills mall, also in Ontario (Ontario is the city just adjoining Rancho Cucamonga.) Rosa's is North Italian, and, IMHO, as good as Valentino's used to be. The new York Grill is American/Continental, with great steaks, prime rib, fish, and a reasonably broad menu of more ambitious offerings. Both restaurants are owned by the same people, both are semi-dressy. Both are heavy on atmosphere and service. Both have a decent wine list,, and both are a little bit, but not overly pricey. Another place that used to be outstanding (and may still be, but I haven't been there for a few years), is the Sycamore Inn on Foothill Blvd (the old Route 66, also in Ontario). This is, again, American/Continental. Starting as a Wells Fargo terminal, stopover hotel and brothel in 1848, it has been in business continuously ever since, and (I am told) at one time was described by the Wine Spectator as having the second best cellar west of the Mississippi. Like the others, it's semi dressy and a little bit expensive, but, when I was last there, was thoroughly enjoyable.

      1. try the Terra Vista Town center and all the shopping areas around it. there are alot to choose from. so many that i don't even know where to start. off the 15 fwy, foothill exit heading west.

        1. New York Grill is pretty good too. It's on the outskirts of Ontario Mills, near Dave & Busters.
