Quizno's - no more meatball?

That Don Guy Apr 24, 2007 12:34 PM

I went to the nearby Quizno's (Fairfield, CA - the one near Costco, not the one near the mall) and discovered that the meatball sandwich was off the menu. I figured that maybe it was a local thing - but then I went to the website and couldn't find it mentioned there either. Have all Quizno's gotten rid of their meatball sandwiches? (With Togo's closing left and right, and Subway having switched to some godawful sauce, it's getting harder and harder to find a good meatball sandwich anywhere.)

No meatball here (DFW, Texas) at Quizno's either.

It may be off the menu but available. That's how the meatball sub is at Fazzoli's here.

My experience with Quizno's meatballs is that they were kinda funky. Won't miss 'em.

The meatball is no longer listed on the Quiznos website menu page from what I can tell.

A recent trip into Quizno's for lunch nearly set off a panic attack in my wife when she didn't see the meatballs listed anymore. In this case they had it behind the counter, but not on the menu. Just make sure to ask.
