A group of friends and I are planning a wine tasting trip and plan to visit Sterling Vineyards, Clos Pegase, and Chateau Montelena. Any recommendations on places within this area of Calistoga to stop by for a good tasting lunch? We were looking for a nice, quaint sit down restaurant to enjoy so wine and have a good meal. Not looking for a casual sandwich type of place or any fast food joints. Moderately priced menu. Thanks!!!!

Sterling itself used to serve food on their south terrace with their wines, IIRC. Call the winery and ask -- their website is currently down. The view from the south terrace is panoramic,
amazing, the sweep of the valley is before you.

As to Calistoga restaurants, lots of current info already on this board. Use the search window.
