My wife and I will be attending a concert in May and I'd like to take her to a nice restaurant that's within walking distance of the Hall. We like all types of food, so we're not looking for one particular cuisine. Thanks in advance for the help.

There's nothing VERY close--Consitution Hall is pretty much surrounded with blocks of non-commercial government buildings and greenspace; the closest restaurants are at least six blocks away.

Some suggestions:

I agree with tubman. The only thing really within walking distance is Cosi. I would suggest driving to the restaurant, parking the car there and then cabbing it to CH. That way you could get the best of both worlds--without the added stress of finding parking near CH right before the show.

I didn't mean to imply that these restaurants are in Siberia, they're all 1/2 to 3/4 mile away from CH, which for me is fairly easy walking distance in decent weather. If you're planning on taking Metro, note that the closest Metro stations to CH are also in the areas with the restaurants.

If you decide it's too far to walk and you want to taxi it, that obviously opens up the rest of the city to you.
