This and That Here and There Cafe-Pasadena

I have to admit I LOVE their Mofo burger and Mofo chicken sandwich. I go here for lunch every week once or twice a week during work time. I've tried a lot of their stuff, but nothing compares to the MOFOs. I'm not a big burger fan, but damn do they have good burgers. The Mofo's are either burgers or chicken sandwiches on a bun topped with pastrami, bacon, swiss and american cheese. I thought I was in heaven with wolfe burgers up until a friend introduced me to This and That burgers. Oh yeah and I must add they have the best omelettes ever. I can go on and on and on, but I'll stop here. They are right in front of Target on Colorado in the Playhouse district. I really like their stuff because it's made to order and everything is fresh and very yummyliscious. I like going after the lunch rush around 2:30 when it's died down or really early for breakfast. I guess I just don't really like crowds. I don't know what it is, but something about the place makes me feel happy, maybe it's the colored walls or the funky art. I don't know, I'm not much of an ambience person, but I really do like this little hole in the wall. The owners are also super nice and quite an odd couple I must add, not that it matters. They both look young, the husband is a tall thin white guy and the wife is a short mexican over weight lady, They just really stand out. They actually look cute together in a funny way. Anyone from here been there or is it only the yelpers?

The place must have changed hands since I was last there (about a year ago) as he was a very nice asian gentleman at the time. I like their soups.

Oh yeah, it's a completely different place. Different name, different menu and the owners aren't asian. I've been coming here for over a year so you might be thinking of a different place.

Is it the one between Oak Knoll and Hudson on Colorado? I usually pass it on the way to getting my nails done on the same block.

Yes, just looks like a fast food/diner kinda place. May have added a new sign recently.

The place used to be called The Highland Cafe which had asian owners.... I think it changed ownership about a year ago.

That's it - thanks! Has the food changed from what it was before? I know now they offer breakfasts but have not stopped by since it changed hands.

Their breakfasts are served the whole day (which I love since sometimes I crave breakfast food for lunch), and they now serve burgers as well. I personally like the new set up. You should try it one of these days, and let us know what you think!

It's a casual get your own stuff kind of place. Nothing fancy that's for sure, but not exactly a fast food place either. I know they've been there for over a year because I started my new job early March last year and I've been going ever since for their burgers and omelettes. Today I had their chorizo skillet for lunch, it was good.
