Go to the Atisian Cheese Gallery...it's not just about the cheese, they make beautiful lunch items and it's pretty much run like a crack-house...you'll go in for one cheese and you wind up leaving with 5....whhile you're waiting for your order, they are always happy to let you sample cheese...if you see someone opening a cheese you have never had, show some interest and ask if you can give it a try, they are always happy to give you the first fix cuz they know you'll most likely get hooked. If it's a slow time of day, you can ask for knew suggestions if you are in an adventurous mood..just say "i usually like this type of cheese, could you recommmend something similar but a little more exciting..." if you do that, you never know what new cheeses you may falll in love with...Happy Cheese Hunting.

I second Artisan Cheese Gallery and they do have a delicious ham and gouda sandwich. They also have a gouda from Holland that is aged 5 years that is one of our favorite cheeses! Ask to try it, you will love it!
