outdoor dining in the upper valley-porches,views, patios- what's your favorite?

We love to eat outside in the summer months -(and into the fall if we can manage it ) What's your best spot to chow?

  1. Firestones in Quechee has a pretty good patio.

And I like the deck at Long Trail brewery.

Otherwise, there's not a lot of outdoor dining here.

our personal favorites are allechante for people watching in woodstock and you can't beat the parker houses porch overlooking the river, sunsets and ballon rides in Quechee.

But there has to be more! I know tip top cafe has out door dining but have heard mixed reviews.

As far as I know there aren't many places to dine out of doors in the area. The Quechee Inn serves outside on their terrace, with a stunning view to Dewey's Pond and the river.

Doesn't Simon Pearce have an outdoor deck overlooking the waterfall?

yes it does - great views but the Parker House next door has better views river mountais waterfalll sunsets-of the whole area.and some would say better food and ambiance- but less press.

      2. I like the terrace and lobster club sandwiches at the Hanover Inn in the summer.
