Party of One in PDX

strephking Apr 23, 2007 04:57 PM

we are on the last day of our vacation in the Pacific Northwest. Unfortunately my husband isn't feeling well; so i need a place to eat by myself. I would prefer going to a bar at a nice restaurant. We are staying at the Governor Hotel. Close by is preferred. Thanks in advance for your help.

If it's not too late -- Thai Orchid is wonderful

Don't forget Green Papaya bar; Typhoon a great idea. Agree that Dragonfish bites the big one.

Downstairs at Jake's Grill should be pretty good, but you've probably thought of that.

If you like Dragonfish, it's pan-asian close by with a big bar.

Also, Southpark has a very nice bar with good NW food.

Typhoon. Kind of midscale with some fusiony dishes, but decent.

          Dragonfish sucks, imo.
