Locally grown grub in Orange County?

Does anyone know of any restaurants that serve locally grown food? Or at least make an effort to support local agriculture? I ask because I'm looking for a steakhouse and when I check out the websites of various restaurants they all advertise mid-Western beef. I don't want my meat to travel so far to my plate.

  1. Check Ambrosia in Santa Ana. I know that the chef tries to source market produce, he may try that on the meat as well.
