Drinks and Dinner on 14th St.

I'm getting together with a friend for drinks and a light dinner or at least appetizers. Anywhere between 9th and 1st is up for grabs. We are, of course, willing to travel a few blocks in either direction. Reasonable drinks, good food, and a place to hang out and talk is what we're looking for.

Thirteenth Street between 6th and 7th has several - see what appeals to you. Gradisca was a hit with our foodie friend from SF on Saturday.

If this is for tonight, the weather will be conducive to an outdoor setting. Gavroche, on 14th, b/t 7th & 8th, has very good food and a pleasant back garden.

what are your location parameters? 14th b/t 1st and 9th ave? why?

I go to Pratt on 14th and she's at the New School, so traversing 14th makes sense for us, as we are meeting after our respectives classes.
