Beef O'Brady's?

Any opinions on it? There's one in the shopping center a block and a half from my home, and I'm wondering if there's anything edible there. I'm not looking for earth-shattering cuisine, but it would be nice to be able to grab a chicken sandwich from somewhere close by (neither Mr. Mouse or I eat beef) on those nights when we don't feel like cooking and don't want to trampse all the way down to Destin either.

Don't waste your time. We had one open up in Bham a few months ago - maybe a year. It's basically a family-oriented sports bar - beer only I think. That concept's interesting - I'll give you that. But the food!!! An Applebees or Bennigans puts that place to shame. Food was bland (even the hamburgers), french fries were limp, salad was room temperature. In any event, our location closed after only a few months. If you want to try it, you better hurry 'cause it probably won't be open long.

I agree 100%. The food at our location in The Woodlands, Texas was just as sheilal described, and it, too, has since closed.

I have to disagree with Sheila - maybe the closing of that location signified problems with that particular owner/franchise. Beef 'O'Brady's originated in Brandon, so they're pretty established and popular in the Tampa Bay area, where I live. Like you said, it's nothing earth-shattering, but they have some decent sandwiches and salads, and the appetizers are all consistent (bar food). I recommend giving it a shot - the grilled chicken salad and blackened fish sandwich are pretty good.

I agree..it depends on the owners. I have been to some good ones and some awful ones. I like their wraps and their hot chicken wings (they have red pepper flakes in the sauce)

I've never dined in, but have gotten carryout orders of their wings before. Pretty good, but not as good as Buffalo's Reef.

I agree with other posters, it depends on the location/owners/management.
We've had nice experiences at the one near our brother's home in Port Charlotte, FL.
