Best Thai noodle in the South Bay/Peninsula?

I love Pad Khee Mau & Drunken Noodles. Any recommendations of good Thai restaurants which serve good Pad Khee Mau & drunken noodles?

I will watch this thread with obsessive interest--I love pad kee mao and very seldom find it "right". The best I've tasted in the south bay is at Thai Spoons in Sunnyvale http://www.thaispoons.com/

When I asked the owner how come his pad kee mao was so much better than any other I'd tasted, he took me back into the kitchen to show me the flame under his wok. If I recall correctly, he said his stove delivered 100,000 btu and regular kitchens deliver only ~20,000. I'm not at all sure of the numbers, but I can tell you that hte flame looked like what you see looking directly into a jet engine.

    i give lunch there a pass--not a buffet fan.

That's one of my favorite Thai dishes, too. I like Thai Satay's rendition in San Mateo, and I recall liking it at New Krung Thai as well. It was only okay recently when I tried it at Thai Chili in Sunnyvale - a little too bland and eggy.

Isn't Pad Kkee Mao = Drunk Noodle? That's what I always thought.

I live in San Jose and my two places are:

        Krung Thai
        http://www.newkrungthai.com/

        Thair Pepper
        2000 S Bascom Ave
        Campbell, CA 95008
