Looking for a good spot for brunch in the Santa Monica area that has good food and is reasonably priced.

One Pico--spectacular ocean views and the brunch is reasonably priced.

Another idea would be Cora's. Very cute little patio and good, reasonably priced food.

Joe's in Venice (on Abbot Kinney) might be worth the extra distance for their fixed brunch menu (it's about $12-$14 I think).

There are a ton of places on Montana.
            Babalou
            Madelines to name a few.

I have not liked the food at Babalu, but maybe I ordered incorrectly. What would you suggest?

Their fresh squeezed orange juice is excellent.
Just recently we ordered their granola encrusted french toast and pumpkim chocolate chip pancakes. I'm not a sweets lover, but I enjoyed it a lot!

I second Joe's but for something a little more casual with great outdoor seating, how about the Rose Cafe?? It's always yummy and can also be relatively healthy. Great iced tea and as I said, beautiful patio. Definitely reasonable and close to the beach. Might be Venice but worth the short drive...Here is their site....
