Napa brunch recommendations
My wife and I are going to be in Napa on Saturday and Sunday (5/5-5/6). On Satruday we will hit Taylor's Refresher for lunch and either Mustard's Grill or Don Giovanni for dinner (feedback on those welcome). On Sunday, we would like to do a late brunch. Any suggestions?

I live in Napa and am actually not aware of many places that do traditional brunch. But I am not much of a breakfast person, or a tourist, so take that with a grain of salt. Of course Silverado Country Club (yawn) has brunch. I did a little search and see that Brannan's in Calistoga (again, yawn) also has brunch. http://www.brannansgrill.com/brunch.html Gillwoods - yuck.
Edited to add: I just remembered Boon Fly in Carneros does brunch, south west Napa. Haven't been there but heard good things. http://www.thecarnerosinn.com/pj_boonfly.html
For a delicious but casual breakfast/brunch in the city of Napa try ABC http://www.alexisbakingcompany.com/
Depending on where you are staying, it might be a better idea to grab a bite in the morning (in St. Helena, Model Bakery. In Yountville, Bouchon Bakery), and plan a really great lunch. What town are you staying in?
On your other choices: Taylors is just a classic place. Overpriced IMO, but good fun. Mustards vs Don Giovanni? Don Giovanni hands down. Make sure you have a reservation.

Mmmm... I am also a fan of ABC's Mexican Breakfast Sandwich.

I guess I should have said we would be eating late rather than the generic "brunch" term. I was shooting for suggestions and you guys came through. ABC sounds great and along the lines of what I had in mind. Lunch is OK too. This came up at last minute so I am scrambling. We are staying in Napa (John Muir Inn). Although driving is no big deal. This is my wife's 1st time so that's why we're doing a Taylor's run. Already crossed off Mustard's for Don Giovanni's. Was able to get a reservation. Thanks for the affirmation.

Yes, you gotta do the Taylor's run. Construction is beginning on a third Taylor's down the block from Copia - for your next trip! While in St. Helena, be sure to stop for olive oil at the Napa Valley Olive Oil Manufactory. It is off 29 on Charter Oak - very close to Taylors - turn off 29 at Tra Vigne restaurant, go to the end of the block and you will see the big white barn-type building with orange trees in front. Olive oil is from the Central Valley - but very good.
I think you'll like ABC. Also in the city of Napa, you can get good pastries at Sweetie Pies, but it is more touristy. For breakfast at the counter with the oldtimers, it's Buttercream Bakery on Jefferson at Lincoln. http://www.buttercreambakery.com/
But if you are up for lunch there are many possibilities - searching this board could take days. I'd say Pilar but they are closed Sunday. Bouchon and Bistro Jeanty in Yountville are two of my favorites.

I went to NV Oil when I was there in 2005. Grabbed a couple bottles to bring home. Thanks for the reminder. Will stop by there. I have lived in a tourist area before, so I appraciate being steered in the right direction. Everything sounds great! I'm afraid I will have to fly back in the cargo area of the plane after all my eating and "tasting".
