Espresso Dry Rub

I had a jar that I kept dry rub in and as it started to run low I would add some ingredients back in. At one point I put in some espresso and it really made a great rub. But, the fact that I had been winging it for so long with the rub recipe (and I cant remember all that I put in) had made recreating that great batch almost impossible.

Anyone have any good suggestions for Dry Rubs that use Espresso? For use on meats to be grilled, smoked, braised pretty much whatever. Thanks

    1. I personally haven't tried this recipe, but it looked and sounded good, and it got pretty good ratings. Ellie Kireger's Cowboy steak with expresso chili rub: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recip...

        1. I've tried to make a good espresso rub at home, but nothing works out as well as some of the professional mixes. I recently had a steak rubbed with Chef Bobby Buzz Espresso Rub at a friend's house and I rushed home and ordered a bottle. I've never had a steak that tasted so good.
