Anyone know of any good Greek food festivals in the Philadelphia area in the coming months?

  1. Opa at the Greek Orthodox Church on Old York Road in Elkins Park. Here's a link to their calendar. Looks like it runs from May 24-27. Food, games, rides, All the good stuff.

    1. Depends on your definition of 'Philly area' but there's one in Wilmington that I hit every year at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in June...

      1. This isn't very informative, but St. George's on 8th St. does a small but good festival twice a year and I think the time is coming soon. Their website is down though, maybe someone has more info on that one.

Is St. George's festival twice a year really? The festival last fall was great...especially the souvlaki and the baklava!

The dates for the St. George's Greek Festival have been announced. It's May 31st through June 2nd.

        2. Hey, I know this post is old, but I thought I'd resurrect it to let everyone know:

St. Sophia in Audubon, PA is having it's Fall Greek festival this weekend. I don't have the website, but it is located near the Walmart on Trooper Road.
Stop by Zwahlen's for some dessert afterwards - the best ice cream in all of PA, yum.

          1. St. George's fall festival is at the end of this month: http://stgeorgecathedralfestival.com/...
