Shanghai Sichuan Restaurant in Mountain View

For those who may be looking for an alternative Shanghai style restaurant to the Palo Alto branch of Su Hong, you might want to try Shanghai Sichuan Restaurant, a relatively new restaurant buried inconspicuously in a mini-mall on Rengstorff at Central Expressway. Everything we had there was excellent--the XLB, the Dan Dan noodles, Shanghai rice cakes and bean curd strips with soybeans. My son has eaten several times at Su Hong and says Shanghai Sichuan is clearly better. Also the servers at Shanghai Sichuan were very courteous in contrast to Su Hong, where I recall the waiters to be alternately pushy and inattentive.
