Anyone been? It has been around for quite a while and I live within walking distance but have not ventured to try it. Is it worth it?

thanks!

Quite a while is right. I remember lines out the door when we used to go 30 years ago; it was good food @ reasonable prices. I'm curious about others' recent experiences there too.

And the "now serving sushi" sign has been up for at least 8 or 9 years. See why I have been hesitant to try...

San Diego. I guess technically in Mission Hills. Right by where India hits Washington across from Gelato Vero

I last ate there about four or five years ago, it was solid if unspectacular Japanese food -- teriyaki, noodles, etc. I'd probably go there once in awhile if I lived in walking distance.
