Need the name of Italian Restaurant on the WB

I lived in NO in 2001, and we went to a wine store on the West Bank that had some tables and served some great Italian food. The family running it was of Italian origin, but had settled in Venezuala before coming to NO. Nice, nice people, excellent food. Does any of this ring a bell? Thanks in advance.

My wife Remembered the place. here is an old report. Thanks everybody.
    ANTONIO'S WINE CELLAR
    601 Terry Pkwy., Gretna 361-1332
You can come to Antonio's to buy wine for your next dinner party and get some menu ideas from the Italian restaurant within the store. Bring a bottle to your table so you'll have something to sip while you sample the linguine carbonara with bacon, peas, onions and Parmesan in a cream sauce, or the lasagna made with ground beef, sausage, herbs and cheeses. Antonio's offers free wine tastings every Friday. Reservations recommended. Lunch Monday through Friday, dinner Friday and Saturday. Credit cards and checks. $$

Would that have been Ditali's on Manhattan?

No. I think the one he refers to was near the bridge.

They closed before the storm. Last I looked it was a Mexican restaurant, but that was a while ago. Don't know if the family is still in town. I don't remember the name, but I do remember the place.

Thanks. I'm sorry they closed. I lived in the city for a year, ate everywhere, but that place was special.
