Need the name of Italian Restaurant on the WB

  • 5

I lived in NO in 2001, and we went to a wine store on the West Bank that had some tables and served some great Italian food. The family running it was of Italian origin, but had settled in Venezuala before coming to NO. Nice, nice people, excellent food. Does any of this ring a bell? Thanks in advance.

  1. They closed before the storm. Last I looked it was a Mexican restaurant, but that was a while ago. Don't know if the family is still in town. I don't remember the name, but I do remember the place.

Thanks. I'm sorry they closed. I lived in the city for a year, ate everywhere, but that place was special.

    2. Would that have been Ditali's on Manhattan?
