we're looking for a great place, great food, great atmosphere and not over the top expensive in Charleston for our 25th anniversary - any suggestions? We've read McCrady's reviews and it looks interesting. We're coming from out of town (Florida).

IMO, a 25th wedding anniversary doesn't even happen that much anymore! So celebrate and DO go "over the top"....Have dinner at the Charleston Grill!

Considering the Charleston Grill's new casual atmosphere after their recommendations (jeans allowed!), I think that going for something more classy like McCrady's, Peninsula Grill, or even Woodlands Inn out in Summerville might be a better bet.

Report on McCrady's - well we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. My husband raved and raved (he's NEVER has done this) about his meal - he had the beef tenderloin. The slow cooked Maine Lobster appetizer was great. Highly recommend. For a Wednesday evening, it was busy but not crazy. Great place and not too formal - only saw one gentlemen with a jacket on. Some came with jeans and shorts. mmmm
