Mother's Day Brunch

I'm looking for a good place to have Mother's Day brunch with a large group of people. Buffetts are preferred. Any where in the Boston and metrowest area is the best.

Is Wrentham too far? If not, Lake Pearl has an excellent Mother's Day buffet, complete with cheesy lounge music, great views of the lake, and places to walk around outside.

People I know are going to the Museum of Science which is a buffet for $49 and includes admission to the museum. Not a bad deal but going out on Mother's Day is the worst time of the year I think.

Mt Vernon has a substantial buffet. I've heard mixed reviews on this place, but I've enjoyed the meals I 've had there.

We went to Sidney's Grille in the Hotel@MIT in Cambridge for Mother's Day last year. Nice buffet. Can accomodate a big group and the price didn't break the bank.

I love Phillips Old Colony House on Morrissey Blvd in Dorchester, just over the Quincy line. Easy to get to off 93, they take reservations for a group, they have an awesome great variety buffet (I'm fussy), good service and a bar. Enjoy!

Don't know if they are already booked up or if they can accommodate your group, but I have always enjoyed the brunch at Henrietta's Table in Cambridge! It isn't your typical buffet, but the food is great!
