Serrano's Salsa Company - Really Bad?

I assume this place is probably a chain and probably not so good. Has anyone been? Is it any good? Is it mexican or texmex? Thanks!

I've been surprised at the negative reviews for the Metairie location. Haven't eaten there, but have at the LSU location many times. Good place, though I agree with Celeste's assessment.

I wouldn't say that it's really bad, just that it is what you'd expect from a local, multi-outlet, mid-priced chain. They're not bad at what they do, it's just not fine dining by a long stretch, nor is it all made-from-scratch, in-house food. Menu is a little pan-latin, but not threateningly so. I don't go out of my way to eat at Serrano's, but you could do worse.

Same here...not bad, but not great. If I am going to see a movie I usually eat at Serrano's.
